Fall

A time for changing colors, walking through crunchy leaves, baking those "hearty" holiday favorites, and putting on sweaters. I do love fall! Here in Denver, the weather is beautiful as always, though incredibly unpredictable. High in the 80's one day, snow the next. But, I love variety, so I'm not one to complain!

As for the Gort household, Ben is busy working in IT at the base and I, Arie, am at home with Zion most of the time. We visit the library, go to parks, read books, bake, and sew. I am also working in communications at the base one afternoon a week- writing stories for newsletters and websites. It's fun. I enjoy both being a mom and getting to be involved with YWAM Denver.

The baby (I'm 23 weeks pregnant now) seems to be healthy and growing. We're excited to have another little one on the way- though unsure of how Zion will respond to the surprise as he has no idea what's about to happen to his world in a few short months!
